Laktrum powder contains lactoferrine and bovine colostrum. It has high nutrient and antibodies concentrations, such as carbohydrates and proteins but is low in fat. Since newborns have very limited digestive tracts, colostrum provides its nutrients in a highly concentrated low-volume form. Lactoferrin helps control iron absorption in the intestine and iron distribution to the cells.
